Our recently renovated 18th Century farmhouse, on the outskirts of Montel de Gelat, Les Bourrands enjoys the idyllic setting of the rich French countryside, with only a 1 Km walk from the town.

The house is a recent conversion from the original 18th Century farmhouse and barn offering all modern comforts within a solid stone 2 storey building with exposed beams.

The groundfloor is especially attractive with its huge 10m x 6m lounge, woodburning stove and comfortable dining area - very cool in summer - with open stairs to first floor. Garden furniture includes sun loungers, breakfast picnic table, large garden table and chairs, parasol and gas barbecue.

The Farmhouse is a detached property, suitable also for children, smoking is permitted should you require. The 3 bedrooms allow for up to 8 people to stay in comfort. Whilst the receptions include Dinning Kitchen and Lounge which seats 8.

Pool the exterior of the Farmhouse includes a barbecue, garden, patio area with sun loungers and a bench table not forgetting the private swimming pool (11m x 5.5m x max 1.8m depth.

Auvergne more than deserves its reputation as the "reservoir of France" which stems from the abundance of thermal springs found here because of volcanism.
